Booking software for barbershops, and only for barbershops

Most software sold to barbers is software sold to salons with the word “barber” swapped in. This is not that.

Why only barbershops

Salon software is built around a different business: longer appointments, colour processing times, patch tests, treatment rooms. Barbershops run on short appointments, walk-ins, chair renters, and a Saturday that decides the week. The vocabulary gives it away. One of the biggest booking products on the market still calls a barber a therapist in its own code.

FreshTrim only does barbershops. That means we can make decisions a general-purpose product cannot: the day view is a column per chair, a chair renter keeps their own hours, walk-ins are free forever, and marking a booking complete settles it the way an in-person shop actually works.

Why only Ireland

Prices in euro. The 9% VAT rate that came in on 1 July 2026. Irish bank holidays, including St Brigid’s Day. An Irish phone number, answered during Irish hours. None of that is hard. It is just nobody’s priority when Ireland is 5% of the customer base.

What we decided not to build

A marketplace. Some booking platforms run a consumer app where customers browse shops, and charge you a commission when one of them books you, sometimes including customers who found you on your own Instagram. We do not have one and we are not building one. Your customers are yours.

An app for your customers. Nothing to install and no account to create. A customer taps your link and books on a web page. Every extra step is a customer who rings the shop down the road instead.

Anything added to your customer’s bill. The price on your menu is the price they pay. On our free plan we take €1.50 out of the booking instead, capped at 8%. On the paid plan we take nothing at all.

We are new, and here is what that means

FreshTrim is a small Irish operation. You will not find a wall of customer logos on this site, because putting one there before it is true is a quick way to be found out in a trade this size.

What you get instead is someone who answers, usually the same day, and who will set the thing up with you if you would rather not do it yourself.

And because “what if they go under” is a fair question to ask a new supplier: your customers, your bookings and your takings export to a spreadsheet in one click, any time, without asking us. There is no contract and no notice period. If you want to leave, you leave, and you take the lot with you.

Getting in touch

The details are in the footer of every page, including a phone number. If something is broken, ring it.
